Mr. Ron Pack has contacted me and delivered to me an unsigned letter dated October 4, 1996,
purportedly from the Site Review Committee of the City of Kalispell. The letter contains 17
issues which allegedly "need to be discussed and resolved. " This letter was not reviewed by Mr.
Pack until the morning of October 7, 1996. He was not aware that the letter had been
forwarded to him, and he obviously cannot be prepared to address these issues on October 8,
1996.
Mr. Pack has contacted me and expressed some serious concerns with the relationship between
the developers of this project and the City. As I am sure you are aware from your conversations
with Mr. Pack, he is upset with the manner in which these issues have now been raised. It is
Mr. Pack's contention that most of the matters contained in your letter have been discussed and
dealt with previously and were in fact fully resolved. Notwithstanding the foregoing, it is Mr.
Pack's desire that this matter be addressed once and for all, that those items which need be
reduced to writing be reduced to writing and agreed to by all parties, and that this project which
is so beneficial to Kalispell proceed on in due course.
I will contact you during the week of October 14-18 to discuss setting up a meeting date shortly
thereafter which is more convenient to all parties.
In the meantime, if you have further correspondence or questions, Mr. Pack requests at this time
that all further correspondence in the nature of your unsigned letter of October 4, 1996, and any
like memorandums or details be forwarded to Mr. Pack through this office to my attention.
