I have been corresponding with Ross Plambeck regarding the Hampton Inn and problems raised
by the City Building Department. It is my understanding that Ron Pack has talked directly to
you. I have reviewed some of the concerns of the Planning Department. Most of the concerns
which the City has were alleviated when the restaurant facility was abandoned. There still may
be some matters that must be addressed.
It seems to me that before mountains are made of mole hills, a person -to -person conference
involving you, me, Ron Pack and Clarence Krepps is in order. I would suggest that this meeting
be limited as set forth above, at least in the initial stages. Subsequent meetings, if necessary,
can get into very specific line item issues.
