Notice/Amending Growth PolicyNotice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Kalispell is considering an amendment to the "Kalispell Growth Policy 2020" to include approximately 2,560 acres in the Potential Utility Service Area and assign an appropriate land use upon annexation to the city. The area to be included in the amendment is located in the area beginning approximately one mile east of Highway 93 South, two miles west of Highway 93 South, and one mile north of Rocky Cliff Drive, and generally includes Sections 30, 31, 32 and 33 in Township 28 North, Range 21 West, P.M.M., Flathead County, Montana. The Kalispell City Planning Board has considered the amendment, held a public hearing on October 11, 2005, and presented Resolution KGPA-05-1 to the Kalispell City Council recommending an amendment to the Kalispell Growth Policy 2020. The City Council, on October 17, 2005, passed a Resolution of Intention to Adopt, Revise or Reject a Recommended Amendment to the Kalispell Growth Policy 2020. On November 7, 2005, at 7:00 pm in the Council Chambers, 312 First Avenue East, Kalispell, the City Council of the City of Kalispell will consider Resolutions to Adopt, Revise, or Reject said proposed amendment.
