Drawer 1997 Kalispell, MT 59903 RE: Lots 3 thru 10, 12, 12, 15 thru 19 Gateway Orchard Villas - Preliminary Plat Dear Bruce: The Kalispell City -County Planning Board and Zoning Commission met on Tuesday, October 19, 1993 to consider the following: A request by Frank Strickland for preliminary plat approval to resubdivide 15 multi -family lots into 70 townhouse lots zoned RA-1 (Low Density Residential Apartment). The site is located in Gateway Orchard Villas on the west side of Glenwood Drive north of Two Mile Drive. The propertp is sppecifically described as Lots 3 thru 10, 12, 13, and 15 thru 19 of Gateway Orchard Villas in the SE1/4 of the NE1/4 of Section 12, Township 28 North, Range 22 West, P.M.M., Flathead County. John Parsons of the FRDO presented the staff report recommending approval with no conditions. No written public comment had been received prior to the public hearing. At the hearing only a representative for the applicant spoke in favor of the proposal, explaining the change in the plan. The Board did adopt FRDO Staff Report KPP-93-5 as findings of fact, and by a 7-0 unanimous vote, recommended that the request for Preliminary Plat be approved. This recommendation, the staff report and other relevant information is forwarded to the City Council for final action. Because this is a major subdivision, a public hearing, with 15 day notice, is required prior to Council action. Please contact the Commission or FRDO if you have any questions.
