The City of Kalispell, Montana wishes to sell approximately 7440 square feet of certain real property
owned by the City of Kalispell located on Hawthorne Drive and generally described as Lot OOA in
Porta Villa Subdivision 2 located in Section 12, Township 28 North, Range 22 West, Flathead County,
Montana. "Broker's Price Opinion of Value" is approximately $15,000.00.
Bids will be received by the City Clerk, 201 First Avenue East, Kalispell, Montana until 2:30 PM on
2011. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:30 PM on
2011 in the City Hall First Floor Conference Room, 201 First Avenue East,
Kalispell, Montana 59901.
Bids shall be addressed to the City Clerk, P.O. Box 1997, Kalispell, Montana, 59903-1997, and must
be clearly marked "Bid — City Owned Lot - Hawthorne Property".
In the event that the initial bid period does not produce a viable award recommendation, the City of
Kalispell may, at its discretion, extend the bidding period until a viable bid is received.
All bidders shall, as bid security, accompany the bid with lawful Earnest Money of the United States, a
cashier's check, certified check, bank money order, or bank draft, drawn and issued by a national bank
located in Montana or by a banking corporation incorporated in Montana or a bid bond, or bonds,
executed by a surety corporation authorized to do business in Montana, in the amount of
$ as security for the offer to purchase real property. The Earnest Money will be
applied at closing as a credit against the purchase price of the successful bidder. Earnest Money
submitted by unsuccessful bidders will be returned no later than ten (10) business days after the award
of the bid.

period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time of receiving the bids.
The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any technicality or informality
and accept any bid which may be deemed in the best interest of the City
