Specifically, the letter requested changes relating to parking (particularly underground parking location and dimensions), a small reallocation of units between phases, the addition of a bank use, and sidewalks. The Committee first determined that the proposal constituted a minor amendment. As a minor amendment, the proposal could be approved in Committee as opposed to being forwarded to City Council for its review. The proposed amendments were approved with one condition: the entrances to the underground parking need to meet height requirements of the Fire Department. It appears that the project is now back on track. As I mentioned at the meeting, we will need revised drawings and you will need to continue working with the various departments as set forth in the development agreement. I am looking forward to seeing a first-class facility up on the hill soon.
