Dear Mr. Defferding:
As I am sure you are aware, the Site Development Review Committee met on June 8' to
discuss the proposed amendments outlined in your letter of June 5, 2000. Specifically, the letter
requested changes relating to parking (particularly underground parking location and dimensions),
a small reallocation of units between phases, the addition of a bank use, and sidewalks.
The Committee first determined that the proposal constituted a minor amendment. As a
minor amendment, the proposal could be approved in Committee as opposed to being forwarded
to City Council for its review. The proposed amendments were approved with one condition: the
entrances to the underground parking need to meet height requirements of the Fire Department.
It appears that the project is now back on track. As I mentioned at the meeting, we will
need revised drawings and you will need to continue working with the various departments as set
forth in the development agreement. I am looking forward to seeing a first-class facility up on the
hill soon.
