Mayor Kennedy, Chairwoman Ha€ferman, Councilman Manning, Surveyor Zavodny,
Construction Inspector Van Dyke, W/S Supt. Hyde, and David Greer present.
04 BECKER ADDITION Mr. Greer requested the Committee to review the plans and give a
Preliminary Plat Approval. This will be taken to the next City Council meeting.
WEATHERFORD FUNERAL HOME All of the conditions have been met and will be forwarded
to the City Council for approval. Mylars and blue prints are ready for the Mayor's
signature.
RIVER VIEW GREENS Mr. Greer requested the City to review and make comments pertaining
to fire hydrant spacing, sewer, and water for River View Greens, a 60 lot subdivision
west of Whitefish Stage Road. FRDO would like comments to be thorough and complete
within approximately one week as this then goes to the planning board in December, 1987.
APPLICATIONS FOR ANNEXATION 1) Ron Fredenberg owns a lot in the Ridgeview Subdivision
on Grandview and has applied for annexation but cannot be annexed at this time because
his property is not contiguous. 2) Karen Olstad owns a lot on Appleway Drive and has
applied for annexation, but did not pay the fee. W/S Supt. Hyde is to write a letter
to Karen Olstad and refer her to Mr. Greer at FRDO regarding the fee and additional
information.
ISLANDS FOR ANNEXATION C. Manning stated that annexation for the islands should be
pursued as soon as possible. Mayor Kennedy agreed to address the Council regarding
the recommendation for City Attorney Neier to pursue, taking information received by
FRIO regarding annexation by the City those who did not wish to withdraw from the
fire district,and look into any legal ramifications of continuing to annex the islands
that exist within the City.
ZONING C. Manning requested that Meridian zoning be pursued. The Committee made a
recommendation to Mr. Greer that he and his office conduct a study of the Meridian
zoning.
