NEW BUSINESS: AT & T Store (Retail) — The Old Pita Pit (f/k/a Arctic Circle) — Change of
Use. No structural changes. The Building/Planning Department spoke with them about changing
some of the parking for better traffic flow. They will need a van accessible spot. All other
changes will be internal. They will need to patch and repair the parking surface and restripe. The
committee signed off on this project.
Flathead Birth Center - Change of Use. Zoned B-2. The old Jones Music building behind the
Outlaw Inn on 2nd Avenue East is being turned into the Flathead Birth Center, Mid -Wives
Association. This would be a birthing center. Most changes will be internal but they do plan to
paint the outside of the building. They will be adding in a handicapped space and striping. This
is going from retail to medical offices with limited overnight stay. Approved by Site Review.
PLANNING OFFICE ITEMS: None.
OTHER REPORTS: Buffalo Hill Golf Course Starter House — They have their building
permits and have paid all of their impact fees.
Silverbrook - A developer is looking to purchase a group of lots in the NE corner of
Silverbrook, to be used for an Assisted Living Center. They have a PUD that lays out their uses,
which includes townhouses. This potential project would fit well into this area.
