It looks to be a little over an acre in size with minimal development. There is a small piece of wooden playground equipment and a frost free water hydrant on site. The Park looks to be maintained routinely. The vegetation is somewhat limited to turf area and a landscape buffer on the west edge (possibly belonging to the adjacent homeowners). If in the near future the subdivision is annexed and the ownership of the Park is transferred from the County to the City, I would recommend the following actions: 1. Replacement of the wooden playground with a modular unit. 2. Possibly add a basketball court. 3. Improve irrigation with automated, underground pop ups. 4. Add a few trees along the street border. Obviously these improvements would not take place immediately, however, depending on park development funds, I would imagine a 4 to 6 year phasing of this Park to bring it up to City neighborhood park standards. Presently we would continue to mow, spray for weeds, maintain existing playground equipment, and look at occasional watering from yard hydrant if the transfer of property from the County was completed. I believe this briefly covers the informal service policy we have worked with for newly annexed park parcels. If further questions or comments arise, please feel free to call. MB/dlw
