-Presentations have been made or are scheduled for Rotary (2), Chamber of Commerce (2),
Flathead Young Leaders, Flathead Valley Community College Board, Kalispell Christian
Center Board, and to the Montana State Fire Testing Consortium.
-Public Service Announcement airing daily on Bresnan Communications Channel 9, until
November 2.
-Daily Interlake has completed their interview and will do a spread on the fire station in the
very near future.
-All city personnel have been informed.
-We have a link on the city web site.
-Flyers have been distributed in all city utility billings.
-Public displays are scheduled for the last two weeks at grocery stores, banks, etc.
A decision was made to not use a political action committee to assist in this process. There is not a
political charge or the community emotion that would drive this action, and the process outlined
above, while labor intensive, seems to be meeting our objectives.
We have received no negative feedback on this project. In truth, we hav received very little
feedback at all, but what we have heard, has been very positive.
