HEAR THE PUBLIC: None
PERFORMANCE BOND REMINDERS: None
OLD BUSINESS: Sykes, 202 2nd Avenue West — They want to obtain their Building Permit.
Burnham said there were some site plan issues, and Public Works would like a response to those
issues. Their only question on the light well is how it would be sealed and that there needs to be a
Maintenance Agreement on it. Public Works will sign off on this. There is a planning
requirement to combine/bind the lots together. They have alcohol for sale on the market side but
not in the restaurant. They cut and sell meat on the market side and cook and sell meat on the
restaurant side. There is concern about liquor licenses and the USDA approval for meats. Their
attorney and our attorney are working on this. The final impact fees for the market and the
apartments have changed with additional light fixtures, etc. The Building Permit for Tenant
Improvement will happen when they know what they are doing in the market and final impact fees
will be calculated at that time. Conrad will talk with Charlie Harball and will try to get their
Building Permit completed this afternoon.
NEW BUSINESS: None.
PLANNING OFFICE ITEMS: We have received a request for annexation off of South Woodland.
The property goes west to the slough, and they intend to build a house. This will go to the April
Planning Board meeting.
OTHER REPORTS: There will be a MDT meeting tomorrow at 1 p.m. They have their final
plan on the tunnel, which will be 10' x 10'. One of the trail groups want it to be 14'. Public
Works is okay with the 10' tunnel. Fincher will talk to Baker about it.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:15 a.m.
