SUB JECT: Land for a new fire station
Looking at the map and the location given to us the area will work with some
modification. It looks as if the area is about 100' to 125' in length and the width can go
as far as 690' to get to the two acre area.
The entire area looks as if it will have a rise from the West to the East of only two feet
and the rise from South to North of even less.
With the utilities in place on the property it should be adequate to build a new fire station,
be it either a large station with a complete training facility or a satellite station with just a
fire engine and an ambulance. The area gives us the flexibility to look at either option.
