/ Target
I received a copy of the letter sent to Jeff Houle, Target's architect. Please see the following:
1. The NuPac offices should be demolished by the and of the month. As I've said before, the
actual demolition of the building is inevitable regardless of short-term schedules. We'll have
a real problem if Target's final permit is held up for this contingency alone.
2. As we know, the fire station pad's location has always been preliminary. Considering our
recent discussions, the likelihood that the station is ultimately located on our property has
diminished somewhat. Regardless ofthe final outcome, we require that this contingency be
removed from this list.
3. Fire access has been provided..A. fire hydrant will be provided prior to combustibles
delivered to site.
4. Marceile Sigler with the local office of the MDEQ has provided the Helena office with a
final closure recommendation. We will provide the final closure letter from the state when.
we receive it. This -is the last and only evidence of cleanup required per section 2.02(a). I
need immediate verification that this is indeed the final report required.
5. Any and all public works issues must be timely presented by the department and any re -
submittals should be timely responded to.
6. The height concern is being handled by Target.
7. I'm surprised a fighting plan was not included in. either Target's or the civil set of drawings.
I will make sure you receive them.
8. Our engineer will address this.
9. Our. engineer will address this.
Please let me know immediately if these responses do not coincide with your understanding.
Thanks for your attention.
