Dear Thor:
We have made a cursory examination of the referenced project today. The Public Works
Department concurs with the changes in the boulevards and sidewalks as outlined in your letter.
The existing pavement locations and locations of existing utilities necessitated the placement and
size of the constructed boulevards and sidewalks.
Public Works has examined the public improvements and have found them to meet the intent of the
current city standards with the following exceptions:
1. A section of sidewalk is missing at the transformer vault location on 12'° Avenue West.
2. The backfill on the East side of 12" Avenue West should be placed at a 2 Horizontal to 1
Vertical slope as shown on the approved construction documents.
3. The sidewalks should be backfilled with mat arias to the top of the sidewalk on the
property line side.
4. The topsoil in the boulevards should be graded to the top of the sidewalk to the top of the
curb with no low spots in between.
5. All the topsoil and sidewalk backfill should be neatly raked.
6. One street light pole is not installed.

Dear Frank,
In follow up to your letter of same date response follows in order.
1. Monetary bond in amount of $120.00 provided.
2. Monetary bond in the amount of $1130.00 provided.
3. Monetary bond in the amount of $100.00 provided.
4. Sod scheduled next week. Bond of $430.06 provided.
5. Addressed in 3 and 4.
6. Monetary bond for $1400.00 provided.
The majority of this work will be completed by week end. Allowing for maximum delay of
backordered light pole all work should be completed in no more than eight weeks. At
125%, a check in the amount of $3975.00 has been provided to Tri-City Planning.
