Re: Buffalo Commons PH I, PH II and PH III
Dear Mr. Greer:
This letter is to confirm that Robert Peccia and Associates and the City of Kalispell have inspected the
Buffalo Commons Phase I, II and III and all the infrastructure has been constructed to City Standards
and Specifications. With the exception of the items listed below, and any items the Engineer may
have, L.H.C. has completed the project in accordance with the approved plans and specifications.
However, this is a preliminary list and additional items may be added until the one year final
inspection is completed in the Spring of 1999.
1) Sewer mains in Phase II need to be cleaned before the TV camera inspection can be
completed. (Sewer mains were cleaned and inspected on December 17, 1997)
2) Four manholes have not passed leakage tests. (L.H.C. completed testing)
3) Backflow preventers and meters need to be installed in the irrigation manholes in
Phase'II. (L.H.C. will install these in the spring)
4) Pavement and drainage in Phase I and III will be evaluated in the Spring. We
will determine at that time any areas that need to be replaced or repaired.
5) Peccia and Associates need to provide us with a paper copy of the Record drawings and
also a Cadd drawing on a 3 1/2" floppy disk or zip disk, preferably in a .dwg format.
6) Most of the street signs have been installed by the City and the rest will be finished in the
spring. Enclosed is a bill for the work that has been completed.
In the application for approval of the Preliminary Plat of Buffalo Commons Phase II, approach
permits were not required for Windward Way and Grandview Drive. This item was reviewed and
approved in the construction drawings.
Please feel free to call if your have any questions.
Sincerely,
zud
