Thank you for your recent payment of $3,340.68 for the sidewalk in Ashley Park Phase 7. This
has been submitted as requested by this department in a letter dated August 14, 2006 (attached).
In attempting to close out this file, I noticed that the letter was drafted with an error of omission.
The August 14t' letter addressed the sidewalks where the cores failed to meet the minimums
established in Resolution 5085B. This work was addressed in a letter prepared by this office
February 6, 2006 (attached); specifically: section A of page 2.
What the August 14"' letter failed to address was the sidewalks where the construction was
sufficient to remain in place, but less than the standards established in the City's Standards for
Design and Construction. These sidewalks were addressed in section B of the February 6, 2006
letter. As stated in that letter, these sidewalks warranted the payment of $3,715.16. Please pay
this amount at your earliest convenience.
I think that it is worth noting that your firm was the first to comply with the Resolution. Thank
you so much for your cooperation.
