Hutton Ranch — Hwy 93 North. Replacing electronic reader boards with new. They
will submit a letter regarding light intensity. Meets size limits. Mark moved to approve
with the condition that the letter limiting light intensity to no more than 0.3 fc above
ambient light be submitted prior to issuing the permit: Russ seconded. Approved 5-0.
M & C Tire — 1271 N Meridian; replace faces on existing freestanding sign. Fall under
the 50% threshold for grandfathered signs. Bill moved to approve; Janet seconded.
Approved 5-0.
Express Care — 515 E Idaho; replace faces on existing freestanding and wall signs.
Look identical — corporate/warranty issue. Bill moved to approve. Janet seconded.
Approved 5-0.
Taco Johns — 150 N Main; new freestanding sign replacing existing sign. Using the
same pole. Janet moved to approve; Russ seconded. Approved 5-0.
Greg's Auto — 540 W Idaho; new freestanding sign. Internally lit. They will go with the
option where the pole is centered rather than with the flag pole design. Mark moved to
approve; Russ seconded. Approved 5-0.
The Original Chicken Coop — 914 W Center; new sign panel on existing freestanding
sign. Suggest change in wall sign location — center over the door. Think that the sign is a
bit monotone — should modify colors a bit. Mark moved to approve with the above
suggestions; Russ seconded. Approved 5-0.
Ashley Square — 1325 Hwy 2 W; remodel building facade and install new wall signs.
This phase is just the front facade/parking area. Wall signs not quite finalized, but will be
bronze aluminum — including them in the review. They showed material samples —
golden tones. Canopy will be backlit. Dark green roof. Fascia will change mansard
look. One planter on the site plan will change to a courtyard. Doing some matching with
the existing adjoining building. West facade will have windows and a sidewalk next to it.
Brining some green around; basic block. Russ moved to approve; Mark seconded.
Approved 5-0.
