RE: complaint on low flying plane (2)Jane:
Due to the terrible weather in the afternoon, we had very little flying.
I did notice an older twin engine aircraft take off north and turn
northeast bound under very low visibility. I didn't recognize the
aircraft as it was not one of our based aircraft. However, due to the
low visibility the aircraft did not climb into the clouds so his noise
level would have been louder than normal. I happened to be going out
to the airport from City Hall about that time and saw the aircraft, but
could not get an ID. I was just south of City Hall on Main Street at
the time. Which would make it close to her neighborhood when I saw it.
Unfortunately it was about a 3 to 5 second event, but could have been
louder than normal.

Subject: complaint on low flying plane
A citizen called 12/30/09 at 2:16 to lodge a complaint.
She stated that a very loud, low flying airplane flew over her house at
2:10 today and she is
very unhappy.
She is located in the 400 block of 5th Ave East. No name was provided.
She would like the Airport Manager to look into this issue.
Thanks,
Denise
