Fred-
Connie had contacted me regarding your dentist having issues with Delta
Dental.
I have provided you with my correspondence that I had with MMIA
concerning this issue.
It sounds like it should now be taken care of.. so if you would be so
kind as to let Connie know I would appreciate it.
If for some reason you continue to have issues, please let me know.
Thanks,
Denise

Delta Dental contacted the provider yesterday and they are sending the
claim back for processing. The confusion was his other military ins.
plan - They have updated their system to pay as primary.

Denise -
We have had a lot of this lately - the reason is - Medicare is really
cracking down on medicare fraud. I will contact Delta Dental and see
what they need - you are correct, as an active City Employee - Delta
Dental pays primary.
Thanks.

Fred went to his dentist (Dr. Steve Johnson) and when they submitted the
bill to Delta Dental, they would not pay because
they aren't sure that his MMIA insurance is primary.
What can we do about this situation.
Fred does have other insurance (military and is Medicare eligible), but
I thought as long as he was an active City employee
our insurance was primary.
Please let me know how to proceed with this issue.
Thanks,
Denise
