PERFORMANCE BOND REMINDERS: The quarterly bond review meeting will be held in September.
OLD BUSINESS:
Flathead County Detention Center – 225 Snowline Lane – The second round of comments were sent on 8/6.
Whitney Aschenwald from Flathead County stated that the comments are being reviewed and requested to split
utility lots to meet their deadlines. Public Works will meet with her to determine if the exception will be made.
Fire will do a walkthrough the building to create an evacuation plan. This will be on the agenda next week.
Timberwolf Residences – Stillwater Bend Rd – 6 apt bldgs/1 clubhouse – No updates on the lot lines and this is
still under review by all departments. This will be on the agenda next week.
St Matthews School – 601 1st Ave W – Parks’ review is still pending. This will be on the agenda next week.
Silverbrook Village – 417 E Swift Creek Way – multi-family – This is in Public Works’ review queue and other
departments are reviewing. Planning stated that significant bonding will be required. This will be on the agenda
next week.
NEW BUSINESS:. Lincoln Square – 380 Cascade Loop – Commercial/retail/restaurant – Planning presented a
revised site plan that addressed Fire’s previous comments. Public Works has this in their queue but stated that the
trash enclosures will need to be rotated and the island will need to be increased. Fire will need paving on Cascade
Loop. This will be on the agenda next week.
Woodland Floral – 35 1st Ave E – remodel/addition/site upgrades – Planning advised that the lots will be
aggregated. This will be on the agenda next week.
OTHER: PRELIMINARY COMMENTS – Alano Club – 153 N Meridian – parking lot replacement –
Brandon Theis from Civil Solutions discussed the project with the committee. Director PJ stated that the City’s
requirements depend on the full scale of the project but sidewalks, landscaping, curb and gutters will likely be
required. The committee also discussed the sign location, easement, floodplain permitting, ADA parking, and Fire
Department tracking. Brandon will be back with an updated site plan for more comments.
Planning advised that the Farm District has new owners and that Trinity Lutheran, Public Works’ CUP, and Eagle
Valley Ranch clubhouse will be coming through Site Review soon.
