Site Review #2 Submittal_CoK Solid Waste ESB - CompleteSITE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE REQUIREMENTS COMMERCIAL, INDUSTRIAL, AND MULTIFAMILY APPLICATIONS Any applications involving: (1) new construction; (2) change of use of the property; or (3) structural expansion. In addition to building plans and a completed building permit application form, electronic copies of the site plan and any related plans must be submitted for review to the Site Development Review Committee. The building consists of four (4) bays and a total area of 4,000 SF to store Solid Waste Vehicles (Garbage Trucks). Note: No washing of vehicles/equipment will be done within the building, as there is an outside Wash Bay adjacent to the facility. Data: The following reference documents were used to determine our opinion for the size and number of SOGs for water collected by floor drains: City of Kalispell, MT SOG Policy Requirements SOG-Policy-Requirements-and-BMPs- PDF (kalispell.com) Calculations: 1. Area (Floor Space) of Interior Equipment Storage Area Equipment Storage Area: The area (floor space) of the interior equipment storage area is 4,000 SF. 2. Sizing of SOG Interceptor A SOG Interceptor will be required by the City of Kalispell prior to discharge to the wastewater system. Sizing of the SOG is indicated in the City of Kalispell Standards, as shown below: #1 – SOG Interceptor Sizing - Page 2 of 2 Other research has found a more expanded list of Use Factors, such as: A Use Category of “Storage Area” and a Use Factor of 100 SF is appropriate for the Equipment Storage Area. This hydrant is ~ 309’ from the building (hose lay length). The AHJ has reviewed and has accepted using the existing fire hydrant with the 309’ hose lay length.
