Police Pursuit
On July 22, 2026, at approximately 7:30 am, the Flathead County Sheriff's Office
attempted to make a traffic stop near the intersection of Cemetery Rd. and Highway 93
South pursuant to a restraining order violation. The driver failed to yield, leading law
enforcement from Flathead County Sheriff's Office and Kalispell Police Department in a
pursuit through Kalispell.
Ultimately, law enforcement was able to disable the fleeing vehicle with stop sticks,
allowing law enforcement to safely resolve the incident. 51-year-old Flathead County
resident, Laura Ann Johnson -Daley, was taken into custody and is currently being held at
the Flathead County Detention Center. There is no further threat to the community
currently.
