SUBJECT: Police Officer Confirmation of Officer Shae, Officer Siderius, and
Officer Fant
MEETING DATE: April 20th, 2026
BACKGROUND: Police Officers Shae, Fant, and Siderius have all completed the
mandatory I year probation to become fully sworn officers with the Kalispell Police
Department. They have each attended and graduated from the Montana Law Enforcement
Academy in Helena, and a 14 week minimum Field Training program here at KPD.
All of these officers have displayed the work ethic, skillset and character to be confirmed
as police officers with KPD.
RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the Council confirm Officers Josh Fant,
KC Siderius and Hunter Shae as officers with the Kalispell Police Department.
