The November 2025 meeting summary was moved by Girardot to be accepted; Brodie seconded. All voted in
favor.
AGENDA
• Staff updated the Board on the status of the Façade Improvement Loan program and the technical
assistance grant to the Kalispel business Improvement District.
• Staff updated the Board on the Safe Streets and Roads for All Demonstration Grant with regards to
potential Leading Pedestrian Intervals in the Downtown TIF District.
• Staff updated the Board on potential TIF applications. Staff is anticipating the possibility of one or two
applications for the February URA Board, if not march. The Kalispell Center Mall is anticipated to apply
shortly.
• Staff updated the Board on the BUILD Grant to complete the south half of the bypass.
• Staff updated the Board on the SS4A Implementation Grant
• Staff updated the Board on the Hawthorn Sidewalk project; engineering has begun.
• Lamire expressed that the KBID is also close to applying for wayfinding, benches, trash receptacles,
• and light poles.
• Giradot noted that the more time the URA has to process application information is appreciated.
• Nygren reiterated that anyone can submit an application to the URA in accordance with City policy
and procedures. Any applications once received will be open to the public for review with a
recommendation from the URA to the City Council.
