I moved to Flathead County 23 years ago for a quality retirement. The First Interstate Bank of
Montana got a new CEO last July,James A Reuter who changed the relationship with customers. He
sent a booklet explaining his changes. It is not good for Seniors. Basically he kicks you out of his
bank if you write checks to institutions he thinks are scammers or hackers. This includes
businesses you have been paying automatically for some time. If he has terminated your accounts,
you can never bank there again. He will not listen to real facts. He refuses to change his opinions
even if the BBB says the business has a good and honest record. I was there for 23 years when his
whole operating game changed and I was kicked out. There was no do process. It has affected my
credit score since he refuses to pay my checks. I think AARP should start a class action suit to
protect its members. This bank was started by Farmers and Ranchers that have a great deal of
respect for hard working Americans. This new COE has, by himself destroyed the former good name
of First Interstate Bank. He is no friend of AARP Members. Regards, Hugh Nutting a member since
1971.
