Hi Kathy,
Kalispell Public Works is in receipt of your recent water conservation email. First, thank you for your
commitment to using water wisely, we always appreciate water conservation. Based on the address
provided below your signature, it does not appear that you reside within the City of Kalispell water service
area. It is possible that your property is served by the Evergreen Water District. If that is the case, and you
intended for your message to reach the public water system that serves your location, you may wish to
contact them directly to ensure your inquiry is addressed.
Sincerely,
Susie Turner, P.E.

Subject: EXTERNAL Consideration For Residential Lawn Watering Program
Mayor and Council:
In light of the dry conditions the Flathead Valley has been experiencing the past several summers, I am making the
suggestion that a system of watering restrictions/rotations be put into place for residential property owners. I support
efforts to conserve our water supply and think this is an opportunity to do our part to mitigate a potential water
shortage should the season present one.
Thank you for considering my concern.

Kathy Tabler
