Kalispell City Council Members,
You are warmly invited to attend the 4th annual Soles of the Flathead, a celebration of community,
collaboration, and incredible people who make our valley stronger.
Supporting local initiatives like this is an important part of staying connected to the community.
Your presence would demonstrate encouragement for the nonprofits,volunteers, and all
community members who work every day to improve the lives of our neighbors.
This year's celebrity dance couples represent a remarkable cross-section of leadership, service,
and heart in the Flathead:
• Mayor Ryan Hunter& Eve Hunter-Ryan serves as Mayor of Kalispell, and Eve is a lead
preschool teacher at Children's Montessori School in Whitefish.
• Aaron &Carrie McPherson-Aaron is President of Gateway of Hope, a Christian ministry
supporting men coming out of rehab and incarceration; Carrie is a devoted mother of four.
• Jack&Anita Lavin-(FWC Board Members) Longtime Flathead residents;Jack is a retired
physician who delivered 4,100 babies in our valley,and Anita is a retired physical therapist.
• Shelby& Kelly Oliviers-Shelby is a small business owner and fitness instructor at Logan
Fitness; Kelly is the sales manager at Kalispell Toyota.
• Jamie Goguen-Jamie is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and community advocate.Jamie is
President of Two Bear Services Group based in Whitefish.Jamie will be dancing with her
daughter Ruby.
• Clifford &Cassidy Kipp-Clifford is Executive Director of the Bob Marshall Wilderness
Foundation and serves on the Governor's Office of Community Service Commission;
Cassidy, a Kalispell native and social worker, is the newly appointed Executive Director of
Samaritan House.
• Andy& Kristen-Andy is a local celebrity chef and Executive Chef/Instructor at the Culinary
Institute of Montana at FVCC; Kristen is the Executive Director of the Abbie Shelter and a
valued partner to the Warming Center.
And of course, it's also a wonderful opportunity to cheer on our very own Mayor as he takes the
stage.
We would be honored to have you join us.

Doors open at 5:45pm.
Pop-up dancing and hearty hors d'oeuvres during a beautiful and lively reception.The competition
starts at 7pm in the auditorium.
