06-17-25 Conrad Mansion Museum Board Minutes Conrad Mansion Museum Board of Directors June 17, 2025-4:00 p.m. Kalispell Chamber of Commerce 1. Welcome- Members present: Diane Medler, Mary Pat Murphy, Natalie Robinson, Gail Erickson, Mark Schickendantz, Cate Webber, Everit Sliter, Chris Vick, Sue Corrigan, Suzanne Wigginton, Diane Stout, Carrie Nelson, and Museum Director Brit Clark and assistant Abigail Vandervoort. 2. Consent agenda- a) May minutes- Approved as submitted. b) Treasurer's report for May 2025- Chris made a motion to accept financials as presented. Sue seconded. All in favor. 3. Executive Director's Report- a) See submitted Director's June report. • New summer prices have taken effect.June admission is comparable to last year, but there have been visitors decline tours due to price. Prices are listed online and outside near the door. Staff will continue to gauge response as season progresses. Staff report visitor demographics are younger on average than they used to be. • The Great Fish Community Challenge will last for 1 month this year, not for 6 weeks as in previous years. (Aug. 12-Sept 12). Committee will consist of Diane Medler, Brit, Abigail.Jacqueline was nominated and is pending acceptance. Both Brit and Abigail will be out of the office during part of the Great Fish for previously scheduled plans. • Volunteers are needed for the 41h of July Ice Cream Social. • An installation company for the porch lift has been selected. They will provide the cement. • Wiring updates/estimates are still in progress. 4. Committee Reports- a) General liability ad hoc committee— • Diane Medler shared updates from Mansion insurance representative who offered some quotes and was going to get some more. The rep suggested addition of an Internet theft/cybersecurity policy. • Chris would like to make some changes to the original family donation agreement. Chris is the last family member alive to have direct contact with Alicia. Board members are asked to review City agreement. b) Maintenance Committee- • The fire sprinkler system Is overdue for an inspection. As Robert was out today,this will be tabled until he is available to discuss. S. Other Business— • Everit shared that the memorial party for long time Mansion volunteer, Judy Schickendantz was very nice. The family's intent to donate for the lift in honor of Judy was shared during the memorial. 6. Adjourn-4:56
