Subject: EXTERNAL Words in Support of Karlene Khor for Kalispell City Council
To fill a vacant seat on the Kalispell City Council, you need not look any farther than Karlene
Khor. Not only is she firmly entrenched and vested in Kalispell's Historic Downtown as a
property and shop owner, she's deeply involved in local efforts and events. Born in Kalispell,
Karlene has spent years building connections with locals and working with new residents. Her
knowledge of town and people spans decades, and all of that familiarity will come in handy as
Kalispell continues to grow and change. As they say, "those who forget the past are doomed to
repeat it" and mistakes are most expediently avoided if an individual knows the past -- and is
not relying upon false information or rumors -- to assist in making important decisions.
Kharlene is also a firm believer in education and is a staunch advocate of our schools. She
knows that Investment and protection of our children is paramount in building a cornerstone
for the future and residents who will care about where they grew up.
Well-spoken and eloquent, Karlene is highly capable of expressing her thoughts and presenting
complex issues. She is bound to her Khor values as a longtime resident and will put in all of the
efforts required to do what she believes is right. Karlene is the one you want to have on your
side and the side of the longtime residents of Kalispell, Montana.
Thank you for your kind consideration,
Brian F Eklund
