Happy New Year,
Is there a location to drop off all our electronics so they aren't in our landfill with other compostable garbage?
It would be nice if the city/county offered an a-waste option for recycle.
I previously lived near a communitywhere a non-profit accepted computers and tablets. Retired electrical
engineers and other tech savvy professionals,wiped the electronics clean,and repaired if they could the
electronics,so they were functioning. They then provided local youth in need,who didn't have access to
computers to have their own computer. People would have to be trustworthy as many donated computers with
personal information still on the computers.
Additionally, I agree it would be beneficial for the garbage company to have smatter garbage cans options and add
a recycle program. This would require a big educational component to get users to understand what is recyclable
and what is garbage.
