Dear Mayor, City Council, and City Manager,
We are writing this letter to express our support for Dustin Leftridge as a City Councilor for Ward 3 (our
ward). Dustin brings a unique and incredibly valuable skillset that we have seen first-hand as Jinn's law
partner, fellow downtown business owner, and fellow Eastside neighbor and friend.
As Jinn's law partner, Dustin displays time-and-time-again an ability to find creative solutions to complex
problems, commitment to getting the job done right, and the ability to communicate respectfully and
effectively in difficult and high-stakes situations. He also serves as the firm's managing partner taking on
all financial,tax, and business management responsibilities. Dustin is smart,hard working, and can
dissect and simplify complex issues so they may be better understood and resolved.
As a fellow downtown business owner, Dustin has stepped up to help address difficult and divisive issues
with broad implications on the future of Kalispell. He and Gabe joined the Kalispell Downtown Forward
Coalition and work on the Infrastructure Team. They have met with the Department of Transportation
Region 1 Superintendent, County Administrator, City Manager, and others. While the issues facing
downtown Kalispell are complex, Dustin shows his ability to quickly understand issues and engage in
creative solutions. Furthermore, Dustin understands how local, regional, state, and federal governments
function and affect our local government, citizens, and economy.
Finally, as fellow Eastside neighbors and friends raising our kids together,we have seen Dustin invest in
our community. He and Jinn were on the leadership team of One Brave Pack that helped our community
understand the complexities of school funding and the need to support a high school levy. He was
instrumental in the passage of the levy. Dustin is an avid outdoorsman and understands how our public
land and resources both enrich our lives, economy, and community. Dustin is committed to Kalispell and
making it a better place for all of us and for future generations.
We appreciate your consideration of this letter. We believe Dustin Leftridge would be an outstanding
addition to City Council. We unequivocally support him to represent us in Ward 3.
