I am writing today to give my personal endorsement of Karlene Kohr's filing for
Ward 3 of Kalispell's City Council. I have known Karlene for over twenty-five
years. She was raised here in the Flathead, and has always cared deeply about
the well being of all Flathead residents and all issues pertaining to Montana.
Karlene has always believed in actively participating in civic affairs. She has
served as the Chairman of the Kalispell Tax Increment Committee, and on the
Kalispell City Planning Board. Karlene has also served on the boards of several
organizations, Saint Matthews School Board and as President of Soroptimists.
Karlene is a business woman, and owns a business on Main Street in Kalispell.
Karlene has seen the frenetic growth of Kalispell during her lifetime, and I feel
her history and her expertise are just what is needed on our Kalispell City
Council.
