Police Locker Bid AwardKALISPELL POLICE DEPARTMENT 312 1,r Ave East — PO Box 1997 — Kalispell, MT 59903 Striving to Exceed Expectations' REPORT TO: Jarod Nygren, Interim City Manager FROM: Jordan Venezio, Police Chief SUBJECT: Bid Award for Public Safety Building Lockers MEETING DATE: December 1, 2025 BACKGROUND: The Police Department area within the Public Safety Building is currently being reconfigured after the expansion of staffing made the facility no longer adequate for space needs. The evidence and investigation divisions have been moved into the former Parks and Recreation building, and the space vacated in the Public Safety Building is being reconfigured to be a training room, bathrooms, and locker room. Lockers are needed to fit the reconfigured space. Two responsive bids for officer lockers were received November 24, 2025, from AADS Office Solutions and Montana School Equipment. The lowest bid including installation was from Montana School Equipment. ACTION REQUESTED: Award the bid for officer lockers with installation to Montana School Equipment in the amount of $88,790. FISCAL EFFECTS: The cost for this portion of the project is $88,790 including freight and installation and is being funded by Downtown Tax Increment Financing (TIF) funds.
