HEAR THE PUBLIC: None.
PERFORMANCE BOND REMINDERS: Public Works is reviewing the performance bonds for Starling Ph 4B
and Bitterroot Heights, and the bond for Mountain View Ph1B retaining wall. Public Works has not approved the
Amazon bond yet.
OLD BUSINESS:
Burn Bootcamp – 466 Rivers Edge Loop – athletic club – Nothing new since Public Works sent comments out on
10/10. This will be on the agenda next week.
Kalispell Superwash – 431/435 Rivers Edge Loop – car wash/garage/4plex –This was conditionally passed through
Site Review pending Parks approval.
Corwin Motors – 2585 US HWY 93 N – new service building – Nothing new. The committee is still waiting for
responses to comments sent on 9/30/25. This will be on the agenda next week.
Town Pump Coffee Kiosk – 2950 US HWY 93 S – new coffee kiosk – Building to send comments today. This
will be on the agenda next week.
Jackola – 2250 US HWY 93 S – parking lot expansion – Public Works sent comments 10/16. This will be on the
agenda next week.
NEW BUSINESS: MDT Combo Facility – 2945 US HWY 93 N – new maintenance facility – Fire will review
plans and send comments to the State Building Bureau Chief since this is being reviewed by the state. This will be
on the agenda next week.
PRELIMINARY COMMENTS: Stillwater Bend Phase 2 – The committee discussed sewer service, hydrant
spacing and locations, fire lines, stormwater retention, trash enclosures, stream remediation, fire access including
an all-weather road, and permit requirements. The committee advised Mike Brodie that there are 3 submittals;
subdivision, civil, and building permit and that a PUD amendment would be required to obtain a building permit
prior to obtaining final plat. Brodie was also advised that the infrastructure plans should be part of the subdivision
submittal. Planning recommended having a meeting with the building department to review submittal
requirements.
