SUBJECT: Firefighter/Medic Confirmations for Nine Members
MEETING DATE: October 6, 2025
BACKGROUND: The following members are being presented for confirmation as
Firefighter/Medics for the Kalispell Fire Department. All members under consideration have
successfully completed their one-year probationary period and all appointment requirements as
of September 30, 2025. The members are:

• Jon Hageness
• Seager Higgins
• Mitch Kline
• Jessica Lyles
• Jeremy Odio
• Vinny Thompson
• Ian Whalen
• Michael Martinez
RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that Council confirm the above listed members as
Kalispell Firefighter/Medics.
