has since expired so a new CUP application will be submitted. The committee discussed the possibility of moving
the internal communications tower with Jackola and Northwestern Energy. Planning stated that if the tower is
over 60ft tall it would need to be included in the new conditional use permit and recommended that Northwest
Energy make a decision on the tower location prior to submitting a new CUP application. Planning also advised
NWE that there is a 2012 administrative CUP for non-conforming use. The committee discussed the oil-water
separator, fire service, landscaping, and the CUP process.
OTHER: Former Outlaw Inn – Planning advised the committee that the new owners of the former Outlaw Inn
have plans to operate as a chain hotel and that they would be remodeling the building and restriping the parking
lot. Public Works stated that a stormwater permit may be required. Fire and Building discussed the need for a fire
hydrant on the south end. Planning will refer the new owner to the respective city department contacts.
