SUBJECT: Fiscal Year 2026 Budget Public Hearing
MEETING DATE: July 7, 2025
BACKGROUND: At the June 16, 2025, regular meeting, City Council authorized the
expenditure of funds necessary for day-to-day operations from the Fiscal Year 2026 budget and set a
date of July 7, 2025, for holding a public hearing prior to the final adoption of the FY2025 budget.
On August 18, 2025, Council will consider the final budget and establish respective levies.

RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council hold a public hearing and
accept public comment on the FY2026 budget.
