Dear Mayor and City Council members,
Turning Main Street into a Single Lane North and South will only create bottleneck traffic. This is Hwy 93 and traffic
needs to be able to flow up and down this Highway even though its Main Street. It does not add any more parking
and only to widen the sidewalks for some business to benefit for only a few months a year is not worth the effect it
will have on all those trying to get downtown. A parking garage clearly makes sense, and all efforts should be
made to create more parking to bring patrons to downtown. By creating single lanes, you will get less people
wanting to travel downtown and will now avoid downtown and stay on bypass and stop at Hutton ranch for food,
shopping etc.
