Subject: EXTERNAL Main Street
As downtown business owners, my wife and I oppose the redo on Main Street. While bottlenecking
traffic and making it hard to get any business to our restaurants. Why would we want to make sidewalks
bigger? So everyone can make it to all the nail salons, and realtors offices? Maybe some more liquor
licenses to bring more restaurants to the area to actually draw people downtown. Or we can use this
money to fix roads that need it and maybe pave some more of the local dirt roads. We couldnt make it to
meeting so will be there May 19th.
