Subject: EXTERNAL Downtown Revisions
Hello.
I cannot attend the meeting tonight but would like to express my wishes for the proposal for downtown. If
you read any Facebook comments about this you will find that 99% of the community feels the same. We
would rather see a grant go for ANYTHING other than what is being proposed. Could we get a grant to build
more community things to do? Pickleball Courts, Splash Pads, etc. Could we spend the money on our parks to
make them safe again? Could we spend the money kicking the homeless drug users out of our parks or off our
walking trails? Could we work to make our city look nicer? There is so much disrepair to roads, sidewalks, and
buildings all around our city.
