Subject: EXTERNAL Downtown Plan
To the City Council,
I would like to see the Downtown plan go ahead despite the challenges the city will face during the
transition to the new configuration.
I am in favor of the changes for the following reasons:
1. It appears that all possible plans have been explored and considered. This is the plan that has
consensus among engineers, planners and laymen.
2, 1 work downtown and am in favor of a long term plan that will make the heart of the city more walkable
and favorable to commerce.
3.With the success of the bypass, there are alternative north-south routes through town for people
needing to expedite their travel.
