Subject: EXTERNAL Main street.
To Whom it May Concern,
Making main street a 2 lane road is a horrible idea. It's a busy road as is in non peak tourist season.When
the tourists flood our town it becomes an even bigger problem. I believe it should be kept as is.
1 solution I would suggest is to make 3 small parking garbages 2 or 3 stories high. The 1 st one down by
Taco John's. Buy that lot that's for sale and place a parking garage, 2nd one across the street from Bella
Italia there is already a park8ng lot just add 2-3 stories to that. The 3rd one would be in the lot that is next
to the Mercantile. There are a couple of other places where there are small lots that could be made into
parking garages as well. Then make them metered so city is making money off them.
