Shopping Carts Public Comment from Cassidy Kipp Aimee Brunckhorst Subject: FW: EXTERNAL Shopping carts From: Cassidy Kipp<cyvonnekipp@gmail.com> Sent:Wednesday, April 9, 2025 9:33 AM To: Kalispell Meetings Public Comment<publiccomment@kalispell.com> Subject: EXTERNAL Shopping carts [NOTICE: This message includes an attachment-- DO NOT CLICK on links or open attachments unless you know the content is safe.] Good Morning, I recall a council person asking who to call if there were concerns regarding the homeless on the bike path. My understanding is that those concerns needed to be forwarded. Therefore, I'm just dropping a quick line and looking for advice from the city.We have shopping carts with people's possessions that end up on our sidewalks, in front of our homes or businesses. The grocery stores won't come get them. What should homeowners do to address this? You can see on 1st Ave East there was a shopping cart abandoned at the job service. It has been moved from private property to public property and is slowly working its way up the block.Any guidance would be helpful.
