A RESOLUTION APPROVING A TWO-YEAR EXTENSION TO THE PRELIMINARY
PLAT OF SPRING CREEK PARK PHASE 1 SUBDIVISION, LOCATED TO THE EAST OF
WEST SPRING CREEK ROAD BETWEEN TWO MILE DRIVE AND THREE MILE DRIVE
IN SECTION 11, TOWNSHIP 28 NORTH, RANGE 22 WEST, P.M.M., FLATHEAD
COUNTY, MONTANA.
WHEREAS, the city council of the City of Kalispell granted preliminary- plat approval for Spring
Creek Park Phase 1 on March 7, 2022; and
WHEREAS, GKM Associates LLC requested a two-year extension to the preliminary plat of
Spring Creek Park Phase 1 due to persistent issues such as inflation, market
fluctuations, and labor shortages, which have delayed finalizing plans in a timely
manner; and
WHEREAS, GKM Associates LLC has met the certain conditions and it is in the best interests of
the city that the two-year extension be given.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL, MONTANA AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the application of GKM Associates LLC for a two-year extension of the
preliminary plat of Spring Creek Park Phase 1 Subdivision, Kalispell,
Flathead County, Montana is hereby approved.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND SIGNED BY THE MAYOR OF
THE CITY OF KALISPELL, THIS 3RD DAY OF MARCH, 2025.
