Chamber of Commerce
1. Welcome- Members present: Mary Pat Murphy, Everit Sliter, Sue Corrigan, Chris
Vick, Natalie Robinson, Diane Stout, Mark Schickendantz, Mary Pat Murphy, Teri
Iwerson, Gail Erickson, Carrie Nelson, Susanne Wigginton and Museum Director
Brit Clark. Mary Pat led the meeting.
2. Consent Agenda -
a) August minutes accepted.
b) Treasurer's report- August financials; copies of financial reports provided.
The board discussed and reports were accepted as presented.
3. Strategic Goals Action Plan 2023-24- briefly reviewed.
4. Committee Reports
a) Maintenance - Gary and Robert are working with Brit on compiling
quotes for electrical estimates.
b) New Building committee- Susanne shared updates from the committee
and members reviewed a preliminary layout plan that is focused on
priority needs and does not exceed 1,000 square foot. Chris made a
motion that we move ahead with getting full plans from Jackola
Architects. Mary Pat seconded. Motion carried. All in favor except one.

S. Executive Director's Report- See submitted monthly report.
a) Great Fish Challenge- Funds donated during the challenge totaled
$29,825 and exceeded the goal of $23,000. Match amount will be
announced next month.
b) Mansion short documentary- The Mansion will be closed on Oct. 8t"
for filming a short documentary style video that will be used to help make
tours more accessible.
c) Bibler Foundation- Donation was given with funds to support continued
educational endeavors.
d) Updates on recent and upcoming events- Fairy walks were cancelled
due to rain. Ghost tour ticket sales going well. Volunteers are needed for
leading people through the house.
