On November 5, 2024, at approximately 11:34 am, the Kalispell Police Department attempted to make a traffic stop
on East Idaho St. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was known to police as having multiple warrants for his
arrest. The driver led officers in a pursuit through Kalispell.
With the help of the Flathead County Sheriff's Office and Montana Highway Patrol, 39-year-old Eric Appl was taken
into custody on his warrants and additional felony charges. Appl is being held at the Flathead County Detention
Center.
