Regarding Tronstad Road/Whitetail Crossing Development:
1. Neither the developer, or the Kalispell City Planning Department has addressed the on -site storm
water issue. The
developer's own report cites ground water at 10-20 Feet. With ground water at 10-20 Feet, an on -
site storm water
treatment plan approved by MDEQ is critical before any development can be considered.
2. Developer's traffic plan cites a 300 car per hour increase. 300 cars per hour is 5 cars per
minute...1 car every 12
seconds. One car every 12 seconds on a narrow road with 3 blind hills is not safe. Someone will
die.
3. In my opinion, the City of Kalispell, and the Council Members will not be covered under "Qualified
Immunity" if this
development is allowed to go forward under the existing traffic plan.
