Tronstad Development Nov 4 Meeting Public Comment from Rheannon MacFarland Aimee Brunckhorst From: Rheannon Music <rheannonmusic@gmail.com> Sent: Saturday, November 2, 2024 3:47 PM To: Kalispell Meetings Public Comment Subject: EXTERNAL Tronstad Development Nov 4 Meeting Dear City Planners, I am a Whitefish Stage area resident with major concerns about the proposed Tronstad development. While I am sure you have heard many, my thoughts are based around insufficient infrastructure, congested unsafe traffic flow, school kids' safety for pick up and drop off, the constant winter drifting which makes Tronstad a place of certain concern (people hit the ditch near the storage units EVERY year) and the annexation of locals into city limits. People who live out here do so for the purpose of being out of town and out of the taxes and rules which govern it. To annex this area into town directly violates the will and purposes of locals who purchased there and would force them to abide by rules and costs that they did not choose when buying their property. While I understand that tax revenue would be increased for the city of Kalispell, I hope you see past it into the concerns that govern the opinions and positions of your fellow citizens. Please vote NO on the Tronstand development. It's not in the best interests of locals, and it's not backed by locals. I appreciate your time and consideration as you faithfully serve and protect the interests of Kalispell citizens (including families and children) who are trusting you to use your authority to make the best decision for Tronstad. Thankfully, Rheannon MacFarland Rheannon Music— i
