Adv./WSI office) Hear the Public: None Approval of Minutes: Janet moved to approve the April 13 minutes; Russ seconded. Approved 5-0. Old Business: None New Business: Ridgline Innovations — 515 W Montana — new/relocated freestanding sign. Previous location was reviewed as well. Janet moved to approve; Mark seconded. Approved 5-0. DNRC — 655 Timberwolf — new seedling cooler. Applicant not present. Location is not very visible from the street. Colors/materials to match other buildings on the site. Russ moved to approve; Bill seconded. Approved 5-0. Spill the Beans — 638 W Center — convert car lot to a coffee shop. Color change, but no other exterior work. Possibly some additional landscaping. Sign change will come later. Bill moved to approve; Russ seconded. Approved 5-0. Western States Insurance — 33 Village Loop — new office building. Signs will come later. Lights will be in the soffit. Gary showed landscaping plan and color elevation (color match not a great rendering). Will have a stone base and planters (including evergreens) around the base of the building. Earth tones, "driftwood" shingles, Anderson's cultured stone, hardiplank, and pre -finished metal trim. Two plumbing vents. Some venting through the soffit. Ridge vent is not shown. Roof concerns — went with hip rather than gable. 18" eaves due to setbacks. Dormers would help (could be advantageous for venting. Other suggestions: fir out stone on corners; more overhang with braces at the entry; eliminate inside corner stone; and add stone between windows at dormers. They will incorporate the changes and bring it back at the next meeting. Janet moved to table; Mark seconded. Motion to table passed 5-0. Other Discussion: Potential Awards Program — Should have 3 categories: new; remodel; and signs. Some question about how far back to go — probably 2 years. Nomination form?
