Approval of Minutes: Janet moved to approve the April 27 minutes; Mark seconded.
Approved 5-0.
Old Business:
Western States Insurance — 33 Village Loop — new office building. Follow-up to last
meeting. They updated plans. They thought that the stone between the windows was a
bit much, maybe a vertical trim instead. Parking changes were discussed. 8x24 entry
gable end with signage. Soffits are only exterior lighting. Some beams, etc at entry.
Dormers? Discussed using only 1 or 2, different trim colors on the dormers. Side
element of the dormer didn't look good. Initial consensus is 2 dormers without sidewalls.
Additional discussion on dormers. Carol moved to approve plan without dormers with
the vertical trim option on all sides. John seconded. Approved 5-0.
New Business:
Montana Club — 1301 Main St — new freestanding sign. Signs were also addressed
during the CUP through Council. Tile base for the sign. They will have an electronic
reader board; 5 second rule/intensity addressed. John moved to approve; Mark seconded.
Approved 5-0.
Other Discussion:
Potential Awards Program — Added an historic preservation category. Nomination form
looks good; we can look towards nominations soon. PJ will add 2007 to the project list.
Meeting Adjourned at 8:45
